FAQ
1. I'm scheduling a rabies vaccination for my pet(s). Will I receive a rabies certificate?

Yes! We can email you the certificate at the end of your appointment and you're always able to retrieve your records online via our portal.

2. Do I have to have my pet examined if I only want vaccinations updated?
You are in control. How can we help? If you only want vaccinations updated, that's what we'll do. If you would like your pet examined or to consult us on your pet's health at the time of vaccination, then that's what we'll do! We only charge for services performed, so no exam = no exam charge, while exam/consult performed = exam/consult charge.

3. If you look at my pet for a non-urgent health issue, and it requires follow up, will it be necessary you charge for another house call fee?

It somewhat depends on where you live, but in reality it's not feasible for us to not charge a fee for driving to your house. However, at times reduced house call fees may be appropriate. Additionally, we have the benefit of offering telemedicine consults which, when appropriate, entirely eliminates the house call fee and still allows for face-face follow up!

4. If I have an urgent emergency, what do I do?

Our mobile veterinary services offer unique benefits and makes it easier to acquire certain veterinary services. However, the mobile framework we utilize does not lend to us being able to provide emergency services to pets. If the need would arise, we encourage you to contact your closest emergency veterinary clinic/hospital, which may be in Rapid City, SD.
